Answer:

50

Step-by-step explanation:

Fadi wins 1 time per every 3 games.

Multiplying 1 and 3 both by 50 yields:

              50 wins per 150 plays

This is experimental (observational) probability.

Find the 10th term of the arithmetic sequence with the terms a1=15 and d=80
Alchen [17]

Answer:

The 10th term is 735

Step-by-step explanation:

The 10th term of an Arithmetic Sequence is given by:

a_{10}=a_1+9d

From the question, we were given that:

a_{1}=15

and

d = 80

We substitute these values into the above expresion to obtain:

a_{10}=15+9 \times 80

a_{10}=15+720

a_{10} = 735

Graph this line using the slope and y-intercept: y = 1/9x + 4
liubo4ka [24]
If you don’t know how to graph slope intercept equations here’s a simple step by step way.

Tiny explanation for step 1:

In y= 1/9x + 4 (y= mx+b) the 4 (b) is the y-intercept. In y= 1/9x + 4 (y= mx+b) the 1/9 (m) is the slope.

1. So go to (0,0) and go 4 units up and circle the point (0,4) which is going to be your lines y-intercept. (the vertical line in a graph is the y-axis, all y-intercepts are on this axis.)

Quick explanation for step 2: Once you have this point (0,4) your going to now use the slope of the equation (which is 1/9). Slopes are in rise over run formate or in more simplistic terms the top number (this only works with fractions) is how many spaces you go up and the bottom is how many spaces you go to the right (this is a positive slope so I won’t explain for negatives).

2. At point (0,4) your y-intercept go 1 unit up and 9 units to the right. Continue this with the new point u made if room (draw an arrow at the end). Then go back to (0,4) and do the other side of the line. This time go down 1 unit and left 9 units from (0,4) your y-intercept.

Hope this was at least somewhat helpful and not completely confusing!

What is the rise of y = -5/3x +4
klio [65]

Answer:

  • The rise is -5.

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that:

  • Formula = y = mx + b
  • Slope formula = Rise/Run
  • Slope = -5/3

Let's compare the formula and the slope given.

Work:

  • Rise/Run = -5/3
  • => Rise = -5

Hence, the rise is -5.

Hoped this helped.
