The statements that describe a nuclear reaction are may involve a change in total mass, involve very high-energy changes, and involve changes in nuclides when decay takes place.

There are two kinds of nuclear reactions, that is, fission and fusion. Fusion involves the fusion of two light atoms into a heavier atom, while fission involves the splitting of an unstable isotope (with a high mass number) into stable elements of lower mass number, which vary in features from the parent atoms. Both the reactions discharge huge concentration of energies in the process.

Use the balanced equation given below to solve the following problem; Calculate the volume in liters of CO produced by the react
Elan Coil [88]

Answer: 40.3 L

Explanation:

To calculate the moles :

\text{Moles of solute}=\frac{\text{given mass}}{\text{Molar Mass}}

\text{Moles of} Sb_2O_3=\frac{175g}{291.5g/mol}=0.600moles

Sb_2O_3+3C\rightarrow 2Sb+3CO

According to stoichiometry :

1 moles of Sb_2O_3 produces = 3 moles of CO

Thus 0.600 moles of Sb_2O_3 will produce=\frac{3}{1}\times 0.600=1.80moles  of CO

Volume of CO=moles\times {\text {Molar volume}}=1.80moles\times 22.4L/mol=40.3L

Thus 40.3 L of CO is produced.

Can we cover the earth with one mole of pennies? Explain.
mezya [45]

Answer:

No we can’t cover the earth with one mole of pennies

Explanation:

We can’t cover the earth with one mole of pennies due to the fact that making this possible will require the flattening and extra expansion before it covers the whole surface.

The extra expansion and flattening with result in the loss of intermolecular forces and won’t remain as a solid and form other states of matter which won’t be able to cover the surface.

How does the process of waste removal in a unicellular organism compare to the waste removal in a multicellular organism
Sonja [21]
The digestive system of multicellular is made up of several organs that work together to break down food so that it may be used in the body. Unicellular organisms have organelles, similar to organs, which help to digest food that will be used by the cell
