Answer:

B)translation 2 units down

Step-by-step explanation:

There are several types of transformations

i) reflection ii) shifting horizontally iii) shifting vertically.

Here the graph y =f(x) = 3x+8 is transformed into Y =g(x) = 3x+6

Rewrite as y-8 = 3x and Y-6 =3x

We find comparing the two equations that there is no change in x.  But y changed to Y

y-8=Y-6 or Y = y-2

Hence there is no horozontal transformation but vertically new Y = old y-2

i.e. the translation is 2 units vertically down.

Option B is right.

Triangle ABC is similar to triangle QRS by the AA Similarity Postulate. Also, m∠A = 32° and m∠S = 102°. What is m∠B?
nignag [31]
The sum of interior angles of any polygon is:

s=180(n-2)

Since we are dealing with a triangle:

s=180(3-2)

s=180°

That is, the sum of angles of any triangle is 180°.

In this case we are given two angles with measures of 32° and 102° so

a+b+c=180

32+b+102=180 combine like terms on left

b+134=180  subtract 134 from both sides

b=46°

What's two thirds of a straight line?
Komok [63]
Well if the straight line is equal to 1 then your answer is 2/3 but if the straight line is not equal to 1 you need to know what it is equal to or you could use the equation y = (2/3)x
"x" would be the length of the straight line and "y" would be two-thirds of it
