Two rocket ships named Alpha and Beta are at rest in space. Alpha fires its engines, and accelerates because of the thrust (or f

orce) that its engines exert on it. Beta has twice the mass of Alpha and its engines exert twice the thrust. If Beta fires its engines, it will experience _________.

Answer:

Explanation:

Given

Beta rocket has twice the mass of Alpha engine

suppose alpha has a mass of m so beta has 2 m mass

Thrust force on alpha is F

thrust force on beta is 2 F

Acceleration of alpha   a_{alpha}=\frac{F}{m}

Acceleration of beat   a_{beta}=\frac{2F}{2m}=\frac{F}{m}

Therefore acceleration of alpha and beta is same

marishachu [46]

Explanation:

Erosion is the physical removal and transportation of weathered material by water, wind, ice, or gravity. Mass wasting is the transfer or movement of rock or soil down slope primarily by gravity. Rock falls, slumps, and debris flows are all examples of mass wasting.

An electrician must decide between 3 heaters. The wire that she is using is rated 15A maximum, anything beyond that is a fire ha
lutik1710 [3]
Use the formula: P=IV, where P is power (watts), I is current (amperes) and V is potential difference (volts).

For the first heater:
900W = I_{1}*120V
I_{1} = 7.5A

For the second heater:
1800W = I_{2}*120V
I_{2} = 15A

For the third heater:
3000W = I_{3}*240V
I_{3} = 12.5A

An Alpha particle moving in north direction give reasons
Mazyrski [523]

Your question has been heard loud and clear.

An alpha particle , can move in any direction randomly. But with a magnetic field , we can deflect the alpha particle in any direction we want.

So , the magnetic field must be placed to the west of the alpha particle , so that the particle gets deflected and moves towards the north direction.

Thank you.
