So, the equation I got was y = -7x -15.

Firstm you gotta find the slope using the slope formula, m = (y2-y1) / (x2-x1) (plug in the two initial points you were given, (7,-2) and (8,5). After you get the slope, which I got as -7, plug that into the y=mx+b formula with your last point (-3,6)
So, 6= -7(-3) + b //// -7 = m, -3 = x, 6 = y. after you solve the equation you should get -15. plug that into the y=mx+b formula andyou have your final equation,
y = -7x -15. to check if all of the point are on this equation, I'd recommend plugging the equation into the demos graphing calculator, it really helps. Hopefully this helped you!

Matt cut a circle into 8 equal sections. He drew an angle that measures the same as the total measure of 4 of the sections in th
gulaghasi [49]

Answer:

The angle Matt drew = 180°

Step-by-step explanation:

The total angle formed by the 8 angles Matt drew in the circle equals 360° because one revolution of a circle is the same as the angle about a point which equals 360°.

Let the equal angles drawn = x

x + x + x + x + x + x + x + x = 360°

8 × x = 360°

8x = 360

x = 45°

∴ each angle drawn = 45°

Next, we are told that Matt drew another angle that has the same measurement as four (4) of the sections (angles) in the circle.

Finding the measure of this angle:

1 section in the circle = 45 (<em>shown above</em>)

∴ 4 sections = 45 × 4 = 180°

∴ The angle Matt drew = 180°

enyata [817]

Answer:

\huge\boxed{157 \ \ \text{degrees}}

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to find the value of ∠EFB here, we have to note our angle relationships.

We know that ∠CFE is already 90°. We also know that ∠CFA is 90°. Angle ∠AFB is inside ∠CFA. Since we know the measure of ∠AFB, we can find the measure of ∠BFC.

23 + x = 90\\\\x = 90-23\\\\x = 67

Now that we know ∠CFE and ∠BFC, which together make ∠BFE, we can add these angles up.

90+67=157

Hope this helped!

If shown a graph and asked for domain range and function how do you proceed?
nata0808 [166]

Considering their concepts, on the graph of a function, the domain and the range are given as follows:

  • Domain: Horizontal axis, values of x.
  • Range: Vertical axis, values of y.

<h3>What are the domain and the range of a function?</h3>

  • The domain of a function is the set that contains all the values of the input.
  • The range of a function is the set that contains all the values of the output.

In a graph, the horizontal axis represents the input and the vertical axis represents the output, hence the domain and the range are given as follows:

  • Domain: Horizontal axis, values of x.
  • Range: Vertical axis, values of y.
