The physical traits are called phenotypes, which include skin colour, height, eye colour, hair colour etc. Phenotype is the observable physical characteristics of an individual. The genetic traits are referred to as genotypes which include blood group, rhesus factor, sickle cell disease, susceptibility to diseases, inheritable diseases, and abilities. Genotype is the genetic make up of an individual.
