South African frogs are capable of jumping as far as 10.0m in one hop. Suppose one of these frogs makes exactly 15 of these jump

Average speed = (total distance) / (time to cover the distance)

Total distance = (15 x 10m) = 150 m
Time to cover the distance = 60 s

Average speed = (150m) / (60s) = (150/60) m/s = 2.5 m/s

We have no way to describe the frog's velocity, because we have
no information about the direction of any this activity.

A novice pilot sets a plane’s controls, thinking the plane will fly at 2.50 × 102 km/h to the north. if the wind blows at 75 km/
serg [7]

Velocity of plane is given as

v_1 = 2.50 * 10^2 km/h towards north

v_2 = 75 km/h towards south east

we can write the two velocity in vector form

v_1 = 2.50 * 10^2 \hat j

v_2 = 75 cos45 \hat i - 75 sin45 \hat j

now the net velocity will be given as

v_{net} = v_1 + v_2

v_{net} = 250\hat j + 53.03 \hat i - 53.03 \hat j

v_{net} = 53.03\hat i + 196.97 \hat j

so the resultant velocity will be given as

v_{net} = \sqrt{53.03^2 + 196.97^2}

v_{net} = 203.98 m/s

and the angle of velocity will be

\theta = tan^{-1}\frac{v_y}{v_x}

\theta = tan^{-1}\frac{196.97}{53.03} = 74.9 degree

an object has a constant acceleration of 3.2 m/s^2.at a certain instant its velocity is 10 m/s . what is its velocity after 5 se
aleksandrvk [35]

So here, you're looking for distance. The formula is D=vt+1/2at^2.

Lets plug in the informations.

10 m/s is our v (initial velocity)

5 second is out t(time)

3.2 m/s is our a(acceleration)

10m/s(5)+1/2(3.2m/s+5^2)

50m/s+1/2(28.2)

50m/s+14.1

Answer =64.1 m

Glad to help you out buddy. Let me know if you need help.

Three cars, car x, car y, and car z, begin accelerating from rest, at the same time. car x is more massive than car y, which is
grigory [225]

When the net force exerted on each car is identical. after 10 seconds, the amount of momentum is same for all cars.

<h3>What is impulse?</h3>

The change in momentum is equal to the product of impact force applied while colliding and time for that impact.

F. t = m (Vf -Vi)

where, Vf is the final velocity and Vi is the initial velocity.

For car X, Fx x t = Mx Vx

For car Y, Fy x t = My Vy

For car Z, Fz x t = Mz Vz

The force applied is same for all and the the time is also same equal to 10 seconds. The impulse is same for all the cars.

Thus, the three cars have same momentum.

Learn more about impulse.

Aluminum wire 1.00 mm in radius is to be used to construct a solenoid 15.0 mm in radius so that the magnitude of the magnetic fi
Leto [7]

To solve this problem we will proceed to use the equations given for the calculation of the resistance, in order to find the radius of the cable. Once the length is found we can find the number of turns of the solenoid and finally the net length of it

The resistance of the wire is

R= \frac{\rho L}{A}

\rho= Resistivity

L = Length

A = Cross-sectional Area

That can be also expressed as,

R = \frac{\rho L}{\pi r^2}

Rearranging the equation for the length of the wire we have

L= \frac{R\pi r^2}{\rho}

L= \frac{3\Omega \pi(1*10^{-3})}{2.655*10^{-8}\Omega \cdot m}

L = 354.8m

The number of turns of the solenoid is

N = \frac{L}{2\pi r} \rightarrow Denominator is equal to the circumference of the loop

N = \frac{354.8}{2\pi(15*10^{-3})}

N = 3766

Finally the Length of he solenoid is

l = N (\phi)

Where \phi is the diameter of wire

l = N (2r)

l = (3766)(2*(1*10^{-3}))

l = 7.532m

Therefore the length of the solenoid is 7.532m
