How are the temperatures of tropical seawater and polar seawater different?

Chemistry

Explanation:

o At the polar latitudes the surface temperature remains near the freezing point of sea water about -1.9°C. Pure water freezes at 0°C and boils at 100°C under normal pressure conditions. When salt is added the freezing point is lowered and the boiling point is raised

o The water temperature of tropical oceans thus typically exceeds 20°C and stays relatively constant troughout the year. Particularly intense radiation directly over the equator evaporates seawater and forms a mass of very warm, humid tropical air that subsequently rises and cools as it flows north and south

Which law represents a balanced chemical equation?
Montano1993 [528]

Answer:

All chemical equations goes to the law of conservation of mass which says that matter can not be destroyed nor created which means there has to be an equal amount of atoms of each element on both sides of the equation. I hope that helps, I'm learning this as well.

Which term names elements that are usually shiny and good conductors of heat and electricity?
Sonbull [250]

Elements that are usually shiny and good conductors of heat and electricity are metals.

What are conductors?

The conductors are the metal or non metal elements which allow heat and electricity to easily pass through them.

Metals are elements with good conductivity of electric current and heat. Metals have lustre characteristics. They are shiny and bendable just like copper wire, which is a metal.

Hence, elements that are usually shiny and good conductors of heat and electricity are metals.
