What organisms would have the best likelihood of surviving the bombardment of
pav-90 [236]

Answer:

The insects.

Explanation:

Insects would be the organisms most likely to survive a bombardment or the impact of comets and asteroids. This is not due to the insects' body structure and composition, but because of their habits.

All insects have an exoskeleton formed by chitin. This subtlety does not promote resistance to chemicals and impacts as strong as that caused by asteroids and bombs. However, some insects have a habit of always hiding themselves in cracks in the walls, in drains, under objects etc. This ability is what would promote the survival of some insects. This is because, once "protected" they would have a better chance of surviving than the organisms that live on the surface of the earth, such as mammals.

Should the United States Have Annexed the Philippines?
rusak2 [61]

Answer:

The U.S. should have annexed the Philippines because it would’ve given us a larger sphere of power and influence. However, you could argue this larger sphere of power is bad because this is what got the Spanish in the conflict in the first place, the more land they occupied, the more revolutions from the people, and the annexation of the Philippines did in fact cause a revolt and a more deadly one, 4,200 Americans and over 20,000 Filipino soldiers were killed, and 200,000 Filipinos civilians were killed from famine, disease, and violence.
