<u>Complete Question: </u>

Janet completed this entire column of math homework in 10 minutes. How many seconds per question did Janet spend?

BTW there is 8 questions in the row

<u>Answer: </u>

Janet spent 75 seconds on each of 8 question

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

We know, every 1 minute consists of 60 seconds. In question, given as 10 minutes. So, it can be expressed in seconds as below,

1 minute = 60 seconds

Hence 10 minutes = 10 (60) = 600 seconds

Let’s consider ‘x’, the time spent on every single question by her.

To find the time spent by Janet on each question, divide 600 seconds by the number of questions she did.

Divide 600 by the number of questions, generally the equation can be formed as ,

           \frac{600}{\text { number of questions }}= 'x' seconds per question

If the number of question is ’8’, then

          'x' seconds per question =\frac{600}{8}=75 seconds

Hence, Janet spent 75 seconds on each of 8 question

lisabon 2012 [21]

Given that the rate of change of y with respect to x is inversely proportional to y². Its equation can be written as :-

\frac{dy}{dx} = \frac{k}{y^{2}}

where 'k' is the proportionality constant, it can take any real value.

We can solve it by integrating the above equation with respect to x.

Rewriting and rearranging the terms of above equation :-

\frac{dy}{dx} = \frac{k}{y^{2}}

y²·dy = k·dx

Integrating both sides :-

∫ y²·dy = ∫ k·dx

\frac{y^{3}}{3} = k·x

y³ = 3·k·x + C

where C is the constant of integration.

So, y³ = 3·k·x + C is the final answer.

In the figure, angle K measures 45 degrees. What is the measurement of angle C?
Delvig [45]

It is 45 because the triangle should be 180 degree and if K is 45 then J should be 45, too. We all know that the right triangle is 90 degree, so we add angle J and G, it is 135. Lastly, you subtract 180- 135=45.
