Nutrient Leaching
Leaching is the process where dissolved nutrients in the
soil profile moves downward with percolating water. It is the loss of
water-soluble plant nutrients from the soil. The nutrients that seep through
the rooting zone may be recycled if roots grow deeper.
Ideally, you want to get there quickly. Unless there is a serious hazard blocking you from the location you need to get to:
Hope I could help! :)
yes because they way a protein is made has to do with the order of nucleotides in its corresponding dna strand. One amino acid corresponds to a group of three nucleotides (codon) so if a nucleotide is missing it shifts the way the dna is read (meaning the codons are no longer the same) and the amino acids are different, which results in a completely different chain of amino acids. However, since more than one codon can code for the same amino acid, if one nucleotide is simply replaced by another but the amino acid that is coded for stays the same then the protein is not changed.
A phytoplankton population would be affected by these changes by increasing the population of the phytoplankton. Low temperature of the ocean would allow for the phytoplanktons to bloom or reproduce. Therefore, high temperatures would slow down growth. This is because when water is warm there would be less mixing between the water layers and the nutrient rich water.
