Hello.

To find the slope, use the formula:

m= (y2-y1) / (x2-x1)

Note: The 2s and 1s are NOT exponents or constants. They are simply markers.

So:

m= (5-(-4)) / (2-0)

m= (5+4) / 2

m = 9/2

Note: The order of the coordinates don't matter as long as y2 is aligned with x2 etc.

Example: (okay)

m= ((-4)-5) / (0-2)

m= -9/ -2

m= 9/2 because a negative multiplied or divided by a negative makes a positive.

Now, let's see what's not okay:

(2,5)(0,-4)

m= (5-(-4)) / (0-2)

NOT. OKAY. since the 1s and 2s aren't aligned.

Hope that helped.

Use the net as an aid to compute the surface area of the triangular prism.
Harrizon [31]

Answer:

Option C. 564\ mm^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The surface area of the triangular prism using the net is equal to the area of two triangles plus the area of three rectangles

so

SA=2(\frac{1}{2})(10)(12)+2(13)(14)+(10)(14)

SA=60+364+140

SA=564\ mm^{2}

Pls help me with this

Answer:

x = 1.5

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

\frac{x}{2} \geq 0.75

\frac{x}{2} < 2.5

Required

Find the value of x.

First, the inequalities need to be rewritten and merged;

if \frac{x}{2} \geq 0.75, then

0.75 \leq \frac{x}{2}

Multiply both sides by 2

2 * 0.75 \leq \frac{x}{2} * 2

1.5 \leq x

Similarly;

\frac{x}{2} < 2.5

Multiply both sides by 2

2 * \frac{x}{2} < 2.5 * 2

x < 5

Merging these results together; to give

1.5 \leq x < 5

This means that the range of values of x is from 1.5 to 4.9999....

From the question, x is the smallest rational number; from the range above (1.5 \leq x < 5), the minimum value of x is 1.5 and 1.5 is a rational number;

Hence, x  = 1.5
