Because Earth orbits around the sun, causing the position to seemingly change as the Earth moves. Orion can't be seen in summer because it appears when the sun is out. The reason it doesn't appear at night is because the earth is titled differently on it's axis then in, say winter.

I hope this helps you out.

<em>The position of the constellation Orion changes throughout the year due to the Earth's motion and during summer, the Orion is in front of the day facing part of the Earth.</em>

<em></em>

Explanation:

The constellation is defined as the group of stars in the sky which denote a definite shape of an animal, mythological figure or creature, gods etc. The constellations are seen in the sky moving from east to west as the Earth moves.

The position of the constellation in the sky keeps changing throughout the year. The change in position is due to the change in position of the Earth around the sun due to its motion.

There are 12 different monthly constellations that are seen in the sky one each month. These are termed as the zodiac signs. They appear in the sky and keep changing their position due to the motion of the Earth.

The constellation Orion can be seen in the sky during the winters and it cannot be seen in the summer sky because during that time, it faces the day time part of the Earth.

Thus, <em>The position of the constellation Orion changes throughout the year due to the Earth's motion and during summer, the Orion is in front of the day facing part of the Earth.</em>

GrogVix [38]

Explanation:

It is given that, the field near a typical pulsed-field machine rises from 0 T to 2.5 T in 200 μs

Change in magnetic field, dB=2.5\ T

Change in time, dt=200\ \mu s=200\times 10^{-6}\ s=2\times 10^{-4}\ s

Diameter, d = 2.3 cm

Radius, r = 0.0115 m

Emf is induced in the ring as the field changes. It is given by :

E=\dfrac{d\phi}{dt}

E=\dfrac{d(B.A\ cos(0))}{dt}

E=A\dfrac{d(B)}{dt}

E=\pi (0.0115)^2\dfrac{2.5}{2\times 10^{-4}}

E = 5.19 volts

So, the emf induced in the ring is 5.19 volts. Hence, this is the required solution.

The speed of sound in air is approximately 350 m/s. You are sitting in a canyon with cliffs 525 m from you. You clap your hands.
Wewaii [24]

Answer:

3 s.

Explanation:

Echo is defined as the repetition of a sound produced by the reflection of sound waves from an obstructing surface like a wall, mountain etc.

v = f*lambda

Where,

Lambda = wavelength of the wave

f = frequency of the wave = 1/t

v = velocity of the wave.

Distance there and back = initial ditance * 2

= 525 x 2

= 1050.

Time taken, t = lamda/velocity

= 1050 / 350

= 3 s.

So the delay is 3 seconds.
