I added a screenshot with the complete question

Answer:
D. Ask her instructor questions about it the next day

Explanation:
We are given that Lana doesn't understand everything she's supposed to learn from the homework.

Let's check the options:
1- start working on it eve earlier
We know that she works on the homework as soon as she can. Working on it even earlier will not help her understand the difficult parts

2- put it off until she's ready to work on it
This is not the best option as it wont help her understand difficult parts. On the contrary, she might lose the time she has to practice the parts she understands and gain as much knowledge as possible

3- Only work on it directly before going to class.
this is the same as option 2. She might not even be able to finish it before the class

4- Ask her instructor questions about it the next day
This is the best solution as it will help her recap what she needs to learn and understand any difficult concepts as soon as possible which will help optimize her benefits

Hope this helps :)

Explanation:

Since Lana is unable to understand everything while doing her homework it means that she has doubts about some of the topics given in her homework.

Therefore, in that case she should take the help of her teacher or instructor the very next day because her doubts are new and she should consult about then as soon as possible.

Thus, by doing so she can clear her doubts on time.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE A mad scientist places massive amounts of charge on basketball sized aluminum balls. The charge on the ball
bazaltina [42]

Answer:

4.2 x 10⁷N

Explanation:

Given parameters:

Charge on ball:

             q₁  = 3C

              q₂ = 14C

Distance between balls  = 9000m

Unknown:

Force acting on the two balls

Solution:

The force experienced by the two charges is given by coulombs law. It is mathematically expressed as;

                      F  = \frac{k q_{1} q_{2} }{r^{2} }

where k  = 9 x 10⁹Nm²/C²

           q is the charges

             r is the distance

Input the variables and solve;

        F  = \frac{9 x 10^{9} x 3 x 14 }{9000}  = 4.2 x 10⁷N

A boat, whose speed in still water is 2.50 m/s, must cross a 285-m wide river and arrive at a point 118m upstream from where it
son4ous [18]

The figure shows the arrangement of system

The velocity of boat can be resolved in to two

     Horizontal component  = vcos θ = 2.50 cos 45 = 1.768 m/s

     Vertical component  = vsin θ = 2.50 sin 45 = 1.768 m/s

   Due to horizontal component the boat arrive arrives upstream,

           Total horizontal velocity = 1.768 - Vr, where Vr is the velocity of river.

  Total time taken to cross the river = width of river/ Vertical component of velocity

                         t = 285/1.768 = 161.20 seconds

So 118 meter is traveled at a velocity of 1.768-Vr in 161.20 seconds

That is           118 = (1.768-Vr)*161.20

                     1.768 - Vr =0.732

                         Vr = 1.036 m/s

So velocity of river flow =1.036 m/s
