I have 30 photos to post on my website. I'm planning to post these on two web pages, one marked "Friends" and the other marked "

Family". No photo may go on both pages, but every photo will end up on one or the other. Conceivably, one of the pages may be empty. Please answer these two questions:__________
a. In how many ways can I post these photos to the web pages if the order in which the photos appear on those pages matters?
b. In how many ways can I post these photos to the web pages if the order in which the photos appear on those pages does not matter?

Answer:a) 870

b) 435

Step-by-step explanation:

a)

number of photos to be posted =n = 30

number of web pages on which they would be posted is 2

Since the order in which the photos appear on the web pages matters,

Number of ways = 30 permutation 2

=870 ways

b)

Since the order in which the photos appear on the web pages does not matter,

Number of ways = 30 combination 2

= 435 ways

Please help me I suck at math
Firlakuza [10]

Answer:

1

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the slope of a line, you need to find how much it rises for a certain amount of run. Here, the line rises from -3 to 1, which is a rise of 4, while "running" from -1 to 3, or a run of 4. 4/4=1. Hope this helps!

There are currently 17 frogs in a (large) pond. The frog population grows exponentially, tripling every 6 days. How long will it
Tema [17]

Answer:

t=11,11 days

Step-by-step explanation:

F=frogs poblation, t=time, be the variables dF/dt = KF, dF/F=Kdt, integrating \int\limits^ {} \, dF/F =K\int\limits^ {} \, dt⇒ LnF=Kt+c,F=ce^{Kt}; Knowing t=0, F=17 and t=6 F=51 (tripling every 6 days (17*3)), F=ce^{K0} = F=c=17; F=17e^{6K} =51⇒e^{6K} =51/17; K6=ln\frac{51}{17} ; K=ln\frac{51}{17}/6=0.183, so F=17e^{0,183t}, now if F=130, t=? we have:

130=17e^{0.183t} =e^{0.183t} =130/17; 0.183t=ln(130/17); t=ln(130/17)/0.183 = 11,11

How do I do this the easiest way?
Marina CMI [18]
Add the 3 item totals, then divide that number by 100, then, take that number and multiply by 9 (this gets the tax total). then you are going to want to add the total of the 3 items, and the tax amount, and you have your answer. do this with all the peoples items :)
