Answer:

A.OSHA

Explanation:

The complete question is as follows:

Who mandates that employers of emergency responders must take certain measures to protect employees who are likely to be exposed to blood and other body fluids?

A.OSHA

B.UNICEF

C.CDC

D.USMLE

  • OSHA is the short form for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration  which is an agency of the  United States Department of Labor located in Washington D.C, USA.
  • The agency works to set and enforce standards for safe and healthy working environment for both men and women who work in private and public sectors.
  • The employers of OSHA have the responsibility to provide a safe workplace and ensure that no serious health hazards take place in the same.
  • Therefore the employers of emergency responders are mandated by OSHA to take measures to protect employees that are exposed to body fluids and blood.

HELP WILL GIVE BRAINLY!! The dominant allele is not completely expressed when the recessive allele is present.
klasskru [66]

Answer:

I will give you an explanation, and try to figure it out!!

Explanation:

Incomplete dominance can occur because neither of the two alleles is fully dominant over the other, or because the dominant allele does not fully dominate the recessive allele. This results in a phenotype that is different from both the dominant and recessive alleles, and appears to be a mixture of both.

Please help i give 48 points !!!which correctly lists the three layers in which water moves easily
Aliun [14]

soil, rock, organic layer

Explanation:

Permeability is the ability of a layer of rock to transmit fluid such as oil or water

The factors that affect the permeability of a rock layer includes the sizes of the rock particles, the ratio of the available voids to the solid mass of the rock, the presence of trapped air and the presence of organic matter

Rocks such as gravels, and  sparingly cemented sands have high permeability

The most impermeable of the options are granite and clay which for granite has large particle mass and contain no voids while clay has very fine particles packed together with little room for water

Therefore, water moves easily between layers  soil, rock, organic layer

Geologists, more specifically mineralogists, identify minerals based on ________. A. Optical properties. B. Solid properties. C.
Shkiper50 [21]

The minerals are mostly characterized by the <u>Physical</u><u> </u><u>properties</u><u> </u><u>(</u><u>D</u><u>)</u> which includes the hardness, lustre, density etc. The mineralogists check the detailed view of minerals by using high powered microscope.

The minerals are chemical compounds which are formed as a result of physical processes or geological processes. They mostly occur in crystalline form. <u>For Example:</u> Cacite, Sulfur, Quartz etc.

Angiotensin II is a potent ____________ that helps regulate blood pressure. Angiotensinogen, is an inactive hormone synthesized
Hatshy [7]

Answer:

Angiotensin II is a potein VASOCONSTRICTOR that helps regulate blood pressure. Angiotensinogen, is an inactive hormone synthesized and released continuously from the LIVER. Its activation, which occurs within the BLOOD, is initiated by the enzyme renin. Renin is released from the juxtaglomerular apparatus of the KIDNEYS in response to either (1) LOW blood pressure (as detected by decreased stretch of BARORECEPTORS within granular cells, or by decreased NaCl detected by CHEMORECEPTORS within macula densa cells); or (2) stimulation by the SYMPATHETIC  division. The sequential action of renin and angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) causes the formation of angiotensin II (the active form of the hormone).

Explanation:

Angiotensin is a peptide hormones that regulate blood pressure by causing increase in blood pressure through vasoconstriction. It is a part of the renin- angiotensin system that regulate the internal pressure of the blood. It is stimulated when the level of blood pressure reduces or there is an decrease in the sodium chloride in the blood. It effects is to vasoconstrict the blood vessels thereby increasing the blood pressure in the vessels. Angiotensinogen is the inactive hormone synthesized by the liver and upon activation through baroreceptors or chemoreceptors, the liver releases angiotensinogen into the blood stream to be ctivated by the enzyme secreted from the kidney's juxtaglumerular apparatusand then activated to teh angiotensinogen I, angiotensinoI is then activated into angiotensin II by the angiotensin II by the angiotensin converting enzyme. Angiotensin also causes the increase in the aldosterone secretion from the adrenal cortex to promote the retention of sodium by the kidneys, this also helps to increaee the blood pressure. Various receptors helps in signalling the body to a reduced blood pressure level. This includes the baroreceptors which are pressure receptors and detect changes in pressure of the blood; chemorecptors which are chemical receptors that detect the change in the concentration of sodium and chloride ion in the blood. All this function together with the sympathetic division of the CNS to help the body regulates its change in blood pressure in a given time.
