Mechanoreceptors are receptors present in the skin and different types of organs that can sense the vibrations and differences in the pressure or distortions.
These receptors can detect physical touch and sensation and sends signals to the motor neurons. If there is an error or problem in the mechanoreceptors there will be a problem in sensing or feeling of someone touching your hands. Mechanoreceptors are of mainly four types glabrous, mammalian skin, Merkel nerve ending, and bulbous corpuscles.
