Having trouble with this one can somebody help?
Varvara68 [4.7K]
Form equation
y = mx + c
y = (rise/run).x + c
y = (11-1 / 3--2)x + c
y = 2x + c
11 = 2(3) + c
Find c (y-intercept)
11 - 6 = c
c = 5
Final equation of line
y = 2x + 5
Substitute given possible x-values in to find y-values
y = 2(1) + 5 = 7 (1,7)
y = 2(2) + 5 = 9 (2,9)
Therefore d is correct

Write an equation in standard form of the line that passes through (4,−1) and has the slope m=3.
ch4aika [34]

Answer :

m = 3

Point = (4,-1)

x1 = 4

y1 = -1

Formula =

y - y1 = m (x-x1)

y - (-1) = 3 (x -4)

y + 1 = 3x -12

y - 3x + 1 + 12 = 0

y - 3x + 13 = 0

The line = y - 3x + 13 = 0 or -3x + y + 13 = 0

I'm sorry if I'm wrong.

Use the net to determine the total surface area. Please help ASAP
wariber [46]

Answer:

C.  S.A. = 340.8 cm^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of rectangles = 6x 12 = 72 cm^{2}

all three have the same area - 72 x 3 = 216 cm^{2}

Area of triangle = 10.4 x 12 ÷ 2

Since there are 2 trignles - 10.4 x 12 = 124.8 cm^{2}

Add all sides up

S.A. = 216 cm^{2} + 124.8 cm^{2}

S.A. = 340.8 cm^{2}
