The coefficients of the substances give you the ratio of the number of moles.
The 4 before the H2O and the 5 before the HCl tell you that for every 5 moles of HCl created, 4 moles of H2O had to react.

Therefore:
(3.45mol HCl)(\frac{4 mol H2O}{5 mol HCl})
can be used to find the moles of H2O that react.

(3.45mol HCl)(\frac{4 mol H2O}{5 mol HCl}) = 2.76 mol H20

When using 100ml or 50ml graduated cylinder to what decimal place can your volume be estimated?<br>
Olegator [25]

Answer:

I know that the 100-mL graduated cylinders are always read to 1 decimal place.

I think for 50 mL graduated cylinders, it lets you measure volumes up to 50.0 mL to the nearest 0.1 or 0.2 mL, depending on your exact cylinder.

A 0.300 m solution of hcl is prepared by adding some 1.50 m hcl to a 500 ml volumetric flask and diluting to the mark with deion
liberstina [14]
In dilution we add distilled water to decrease the concentration of required sample from high concentration to lower concentration
The law used for dilution:
M₁V₁]Before dilution = M₂V₂] After dilution
M₁ = 1.5 M
V₁ = ?
M₂ = 0.3 M
V₂ = 500 ml
1.5 * V₁ = 0.3 * 500 ml
so V₁ = 100 ml and it completed to 500 ml using 400 ml deionized water
