The reason why is forms a sphere is because of Surface tension. So the reason for it to compose a spherical shape is because of the surface tension of the Water that sometimes minimizes the surface of the drop of Water. So the drop of Water and what it does with the area would be the potential energy.

Dalton's law states that Dalton's law states that a. the volume of gas that will dissolve in a solvent is proportional to the so
irina [24]

Answer:

c. in a mixture of gases like air, the total pressure is the sum of the individual partial pressures of the gases in the mixture.

Explanation:

Dalton law is also known as Dalton's law of partial pressure. It simply explains that the total pressure exerted by a mixture of gases in a container is the sum of the individual gas pressure (partial pressure) exerted by each of the gases.

Hence, the correct option is C.

Draw the structure of 2 methyl,but-3-ene
Maslowich

Answer:

Please find the structure attached as an image

Explanation:

Based on the characteristics ending name (-ene) of the organic compound above, it belongs to the ALKENE GROUP. Alkenes are characterized by the possession of a carbon to carbon double bond (C=C) in their structure.

- But-3-ene tells us that the organic compound has four straight carbon atoms with the C=C (double bond) located on the THIRD carbon depending on if we count from right to left or vice versa.

- 2 methyl indicates that the methyl group (-CH3) is located as an attachment on the second carbon (carbon 2).

N.B: In the structure attached below, the counting is from the left to right (→).

The rate law for the rearrangement of ch3nc to ch3cn at 800 k is rate = (1300 s-1)[ch3nc]. what is the half-life for this reacti
Lana71 [14]
The rate of reaction is always expressed in concentration per time like mol/L·s. The equation is:

r [mol/L·s] = kCⁿ, where n is the order of reaction. Since k is 1300/s, that means that Cⁿ = C such that (1/s)*(mol/L) = mol/L·s. Thus, n=1. For a first order reaction, the formula would be:

ln(A/A₀) = -kt
where
A is the amount of material after time t
A₀ is the amount of material at t=0

The half life is when A/A₀ = 1/2÷1 = 1/2. Thus, the half-life t is:

ln(1/2) = (-1300t)
t = 5.33×10⁻⁴ seconds

Add oxidation numbers to the following reaction: 2 H3PO4 (aq) + 2 Cr(s) → 2 CrPO4 (aq) + 3 H2(g). Identify the atom that is oxid
rewona [7]

The atom that is oxidized : Cr

The oxidizing agent : H₃PO₄

Further explanation

Reaction

2 H₃PO₄ (aq) + 2Cr(s) → 2 CrPO₄ (aq) + 3H₂(g)

Atoms undergoing a reduction reaction (decrease in oxidation number) and an oxidation reaction (increase in oxidation number)

 • Reduction (+1 to 0)

H⁺(in H₃PO₄) =+1

H₂=0

 • Oxidation (0 to +3)

Cr = 0

Cr³⁺(in CrPO₄ )

the oxidizing agent.⇒which undergoes a reduction reaction and oxidizes another compound/element : H₃PO₄
