Acute exposure of cadmium fumes in high concentration for short time is likely to produce side effects called as cadium blue which includes symptoms like fever, chills and muscle ache. This can also damage lungs.
Chronic exposure of cadmium fumes in low concentration for long time is likely to cause bone, lung and kidney disease.
