The coordinates of the vertices of quadrilateral JKLM are J(-3,2), K(4,-1), L(2,-5) and M(-5,-2).
pashok25 [27]
Slope of JK=((-1)-2)/(4-(-3)=-3/7 Slope of KL=((-5)-(-1)/(2-4=2 Slope of LM=((-2)-(-5))/(-5-2)=-3/7 Slope of MJ=(2-(-2))/((-3)-(-5))= 2 JK is parallel to LM and KL is parallel to MJ. Therefore JKLM is a parallelogram.

A company has 2 photocopy machines. The probability that machine A will breakdown on a given day is 2%. The probability that mac
pickupchik [31]
Answer: 95.55%

--------------------------------

Work Shown:

A = event that copier A breaks down
B = event that copier B breaks down

P(A) = probability that copier A breaks down
P(A) = 2% = 0.02

P(B) = probability that copier B breaks down
P(B) = 2.5% = 0.025

P(neither break down) = (1-P(A))*(1-P(B))
P(neither break down) = (1-0.02)*(1-0.025)
P(neither break down) = 0.9555
P(neither break down) = 95.55%

The area of a square is 15.1 units². Estimate the length of the sides. Explain how you estimated.
kykrilka [37]

If it is just an estimate then it would be around 4. 15.1 is pretty close to 16 which has a perfect square root of 4. Since it is a square both length and width would be the same. To check it you can just square 4 or 4 times 4 and get 16. Hopefully I helped! And sorry if I am wrong.

BTW the exact answer would be 3.88~ (square root of 15.1) just incase you needed that. :)
