Stella [2.4K]

Answer:

53,000x+110,000y < 610,000

Step-by-step explanation:

An inequality refers to the relationship between two values that are not equal. With the information provided, the inequality has to indicate that the salary of the junior programmer multiply for the number of junior programmers plus the salary of the senior programmers multiply for the number of them has to be less than 610,000 as the statement says that the total spending on these new positions must be under $610,000:

53,000x+110,000y < 610,000

Age problem. Dave is twice as old as Matt. Five years ago the sum of their ages
Aneli [31]

Answer:

Dave: 36 years old

Matt: 18 years old

Step-by-step explanation:

Dave's age can be expresses as 2x of Matt (which is only x).

If 5 years ago the sum was 44, after this time the sum will be 44 + 5*2(person) = 54

Follow this expression:

2x+x=54

3x=54

x=18

Dave is 2x (36 years old) and Matt is 18 years old.

Find-5/6÷(-1/2) write the answer in the lowest terms.
Pavlova-9 [17]

Answer:

\dfrac{-5}{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

We need to solve the given expression in the lowest form i.e.

\dfrac{5}{6}\div (-\dfrac{1}{2})

We know that,

\dfrac{a}{b}\div \dfrac{c}{d}=\dfrac{a}{b}\times \dfrac{d}{c}

So,

\dfrac{5}{6}\div (-\dfrac{1}{2})=\dfrac{5}{6}\times (-2)\\\\=\dfrac{-5}{3}

So, the lowest form is equal to \dfrac{-5}{3}.

Graph -7x+5y=35<br><br><br><br> PLEASE HELP
NNADVOKAT [17]
The best way to figure this out is to rewrite the equation in to standard slope form:

y = mx + b

this would look like...

5y = -7x + 35

divide 5 from each side of the equation...

-7
y = —— x + 7
5

find the values you can graph...

b = y intercept = the point in which the line "hits" the y axis on the graph. so count 7 points up and plot a point on the y axis at 7.

once you plot that, this is the starting point of your slope...

-7 (rise) count 7 down
m = slope = —— (over)
5 (run) count 5 to the right
