Helen is helping plan a trip for three classes at her son’s school. School rules say that classes on trips must have 1 adult for

every 6 children. One class has 24 children; one has 26 children; and the third has 28 children. Each class has 1 teacher. How many OTHER adults are needed for the trip?

So first you need 1 adult with every 6 children so do 6*4 and got 24. From that you get 4 adults with 2 leftover children. For the other class which has 28 children, you would still need 4 adults. Now since you said the teacher is included as an adult only 3 more are needed for the trip, and that is your answer.

You could use Pythagoras Theorem to solve this.

All the points are equidistant from the centre of line AB, therefore it is just the same triangle but rotated. I hope this help but I can show you on paper if you don’t understand that answer :)
