Answer:

Cl₂(g) + 2NaBr(aq) = 2NaCl (aq) + Br₂(g)

Explanation:

Cl₂(g) + NaBr(aq) = NaCl (aq) + Br₂(g)

Here the chlorine replaces bromine from sodium bromide to form sodium chloride. Here aq stands for the aqueous phase and g stands for the gas phase.

Balanced chemical equation:

Cl₂(g) + 2NaBr(aq) = 2NaCl (aq) + Br₂(g)

In the unbalanced there are two Cl atoms on the reactant side and one Cl atom on the product so to balance the equation we place a two before NaCl on the product side. Similarly, in the unbalanced there are two Br atoms on the reactant side and one Cl atom on the product so to balance the equation we place a two before NaCl on the product side.

Does a laboratory balance measure mass or weight
kolezko [41]
A balance in a lab measures the weight of a substance or object.
Weight is the mass of the body x the gravitation pull on the mass of the object.

So the mass of the object can be found by dividing the weight by gravitational constant.

The gravitational constant on earth is 1. so if a balance says that a substance weighs 300g then its mass is also 300g on earth because 300/1 = 300.

Hope that helps :)

Counting Atoms in Compound <br> 1. 4K2CO3 K=___ C=___ O=___
VARVARA [1.3K]
K= 8
C=4
O= 12

The number after the letter shows how much of that atom there is.

The 4 shows there is 4 of each after it, so 4 of the K2, C, and O3. You would want to multiply the K2, C, and O3 by 4.
