Answer and Explanation :

Given : A data set has values ranging from a low of 10 to a high of 50. The class width is to be 10.

To find : What's wrong with using the class limits 10-20, 21-31, 32-42, 43-53 for a frequency table with a class width of 10?

Solution :

The frequency of a class is the number of data entries in the class.

Each class have a lower class limit and an upper class limit.

The class width of the frequency is defined as the distance between the lower limits of consecutive classes.

Class limits 10-20, 21-31, 32-42, 43-53

Highest limit is 50 but data has 53.

According to question,

Last class limit should be 43-50 which has class width 7 not 10.

Class limit is also not continuous.

What is the ratio of the diameter of any circle to its radius?

What does that mean ?
spayn [35]
The diameter fits all the way across the circle, and the radius fits half way across the circle, thus making the radius half the length of the diameter so the ratio for diameter/radius would be 2/1 or 1/.5
