You have to multiply each number by the number two, to get the next number in the series. Friday 64 cars will be sold. c = cars the day before the day trying to be solved for, and y = the outcome. c x 2 = y.
Monday 2 x 2 = 4
Tuesday 4 x 2 = 8
Wednesday 8 x 2 = 16
Thursday 16 x 2 = 32
Friday 32 x 2 = 64
