I think the word intelligence means knowing a certain subject really well and use what you already know to make connections and conclusions. The reason why I said a "certain subject" is because there are many types of intelligence. There are creative intelligence, musical, linguistic, naturalist and etc etc. Just like how there different types of "smarts", like street smart or book smart.
