makvit [3.9K]

The March on Washington brought over 200,000 people to the Lincoln memorial fighting for jobs and the freedom of African Americans. Martin Luther King also delivered his "I have a Dream" speech there. The Chicago Freedom Movement was formed to protest segregated housing, educational deficiencies, and employment and health disparities based on racism. What were the charges against the king? Why were most Of the condemnations addressed against him?
erica [24]
If you are referring to the British king and the charges that the colonists made, then they were that he didn't care about the colonies and only wanted power and wealth for himself. He taxed them as he saw fit and they died in wars caused by him. They didn't want to participate in them anymore, nor did they want to pay taxes to him.
