D  the snapping back of a rock that has been  strained by force

Explanation:

Elastic strain is the snapping back of a rock that has been strained by force. In elastic strain, the rock has not reached its yield point to become plastic.

  • Elastic strain usually is due to action of stress that has not permanently caused deformation.
  • After the stress is withdraw, the material returns back to its original state.
  • We say the rock has not reached it's yield point.
  • Beyond the yield point, the rock becomes plastic and does not return to its original position.

Which of the following surfaces creates the most friction?
Bumek [7]
The correct answer would be
A) Gravel driveway
This is the answer because if you have ever been to an ice skating rink, you know that you can glide quickly on it and if you fall, then you just continue sliding its basically a big waterside. In a bowling alley and an indoor basket ball court, most of the floors are probably waxed and your shoes don't have much of a grip on the floor. If you have ever fallen on a driveway, you would know that with the amount of force that you land on the driveway and the weight that is used, you create a lot of friction because of your skin rubbing against the driveway and you also have the marks to prove it!
Hope this helps and have a wonderful day! :)

En una estructura de concreto cuyo peso es de 8500 n se apoyo sobre un area de 25cm2,hallar la presion ejercida sobre su base
babymother [125]

Respuesta:

340 N/cm²

Explicación:

Paso 1: Información provista

Peso de la estructura (F): 8500 Newton

Area superficial (A): 25 cm²

Paso 2: Calcular la presión (P) ejercida por la estructura de concreto sobre su base

La presión es igual al cociente entre la fuerza ejercida y la superficie sobre la que se aplica.

P = F/A

P = 8500 N / 25 cm² = 340 N/cm²
