What is the relationship between the values of wavelength , frequency, and energy of electromagnetic waves

Chemistry

With an EM wave, the higher the frequency is, the higher the energy but also the lower the wavelength. If a wave has a low frequency, it will have a high wavelength but also low energy. An example is a radio wave. A high frequency, high energy (but low wavelength) wave like gamma or UV are also ionising which means they have enough energy to knock electrons off atoms.

Which of the following salts would be more soluble in acidic solution? A. KNO3 B. CaF2 C. AgCl D. Pbl2
slega [8]

Answer:

CaF2

Explanation:

Because HF is a weak acid, fluoride salts behave as bases in aqueous solution. As a Lewis base, F– accepts a proton from hydronium, which is transformed into a water. Picture is attached.

What is kinetic theory
Eddi Din [679]

The kinetic theory of gases describes a gas as a large number of submicroscopic particles, all of which are in constant, rapid, random motion. The randomness arises from the particles' many collisions with each other and with the walls of the container.

A 10.0 cm3 sample of copper has a mass of 89.6 g. What is the density of copper
natali 33 [55]

Answer:

Density = 8.96 g/cm³

Explanation:

The density of a substance can be found by using the formula

Density = \frac{mass}{volume}

From the question

mass of copper = 89.6 g

volume = 10 cm³

Substitute the values into the above formula and solve

That's

Density = \frac{89.6}{10}

We have the final answer as

Density = 8.96 g/cm³

Hope this helps you
