What did Kwang Jeon discover when researching amoeba infected by bacteria?
defon
<span>Kwang Jeon observed that Amoeba had been attacked by a bacterial infection, and lots of the Amoeba had died. However, some survived and continued to reproduce. After investigating the remaining Amoeba and their offspring, he noticed they were very healthy. He thought maybe they were able to fight off the bacteria, but instead, he found they were still infected with the bacteria but were not dying. The bacteria were no longer making the Amoeba sick. Then, he killed off the bacteria using antibiotics and was surprised to see that the Amoeba also died. It seemed the Amoeba and bacteria had formed a relationship in which they both needed each other to survive. After researching, Jeon found that the bacteria made a protein that the Amoeba needed to survive. </span>

A Gas OCCUPIES 525ML AT A PRESSURE OF 85.0 kPa WHAT WOULD THE VOLUME OF THE GAS BE AT THE PRESSURE OF 65.0 kPa
german

Boyle's law of ideal gas: This law states that the volume of a gas is inversely proportional to its pressure at a constant temperature. Acc to this law we can write the relation of pressure and volume as:

PV=Constant

That means:

P_{1}V_{1}=P_{2}V_{2}

From that equation we can calculate Volume of gas at a certain pressure:

P₁=Initial pressure

V₁=Initial volume

P₂=Final pressure

V₂= Final volume

Here P₁, initial pressure is given as 85.0 kPa

V₁, initial volume is given as 525 mL

P₂, final pressure is 65.0 kPa

P_{1}V_{1}=P_{2}V_{2}

so,

V_{2}=85\times 525\div 65

=686 mL

Volume of gas will be 686 mL.

An object with a mass of 5.6 g raises the level of water in a graduated cylinder from 25.1 mL to 33.9 mL. What is the density of
kondor19780726 [428]

Answer:

0.6364 g/cm^3

Explanation:

Density = mass/volume

Where mass = 5.6g and...

Volume = (33.9 - 25.1) = 8.8ml

Where 1ml = 1 cm^3

Density = 5.6/8.8 = 0.6364 g/cm^3
