<span>Step 1: Begin by using the cosine rule to find the largest angle.
Step 2: Use the sine rule to find one of the remaining angles.
<span>Step 3: Use the 'sum of internal angles' rule to find the third angle... The sum of the internal angles equals 180º
</span></span>

The sum of the internal angles equals 180º ...

<span>A + B + C = 180º</span>

Find the area of a rectangle with a perimeter of 12 meters and a base of 4 meters
stepladder [879]
Considering the perimeter (P)
p = 2 \times b + 2 \times h
where b is the base and h is the height, then
12 = 2 \times 4 \times 2 \times h \\  \\ h =  \frac{12 - (2 \times 4)}{2}  \\  \\ h = 2
Being the area (A)
a = b \times h \\  \\ a = 4 \times 2 \\  \\ a = 8 {m}^{2}

Find the value of x in a triangle. x-20, x+10, x-20
tatyana61 [14]

The value of the angles should be. (x-40°). , (x-20°), (½x-10°) , not (x-40°) + (x-20°)+(½x-10°)

Sum of all the interior angles of a triangle is 180°.

So a equation can be made by the given data,

(x-40°) + (x-20°) + (½ x-10°) = 180°

x-40°+x-20°+½x-10° = 180°

2x+½x -60°-10° = 180°

5/2 x - 70° = 180°

5/2 x = 180° + 70°

5/2 x = 250°

x = 250° × 2/5

x = 50° × 2

x = 100°

So the angles are

x-40° = 100°-40° = 60°

x-20° = 100°–20° = 80°

½x-10° = ½(100)° - 10° = 50° -10° = 40°

The answer can be checked by putting the values of the angle we got in the second statement i.e. Sum of all the interior angles of a triangle is 180°.

60° + 80° + 40° = 100° + 80° = 180°

PLEASE HELP FASTTT!!!
nirvana33 [79]

Answer:

5 seconds

Step-by-step explanation:

Looking at your function (h(t) = -16t^2 + 48t + 160), I see that the peak height will be 196 feet, and that is achieved in 1.5 seconds.

h(1.5) = -16(1.5)^2 + 48(1.5) + 160

h(1.5) = -16(2.25)+ 48(1.5) + 160

h(1.5) = -36 + 48(1.5) + 160

h(1.5) = -36 + 72 + 160

h(1.5) = 36 + 160

h(1.5) = 196

Going down from that height, it would take 3.5 more seconds, so it would take 5 seconds in total

h(5) = -16(5)^2 + 48(5) + 160

h(5) = -16(25) + 48(5) + 160

h(5) = -400 + 48(5) + 160

h(5) = -400 + 240 + 160

h(5) = -400 + 400

h(5) = 0
