If mass is same it means the number of protons and neutrons are same

If the charge is positive or negative, it means the number of electrons are different

Let say the atomic number of element = A

The mass number is = M

The number of electrons in neutral atom = A

The number of electrons in negatively charged atom = A +1 [The number of protons and mass number will remains the same]

The number of electrons in positively charged atom = A -1 [The number of protons and mass number will remains the same]

Example :Cl- and Cl+

Answer:

Both the atoms exhibit the same mass, thus, both the atoms comprises 6 number of neutrons, and both the atoms exhibit 6 number of protons. When one atom exhibits positive charge it signifies that there is 5 number of electrons, and when one atom exhibits a negative charge it signifies that it comprises 7 number of electrons. The carbon atom comprises 6 neutrons and 6 protons. Thus, the two different atoms could be 6C+ and 6C-, and of all the subatomic particles, the protons and neutrons are situated in the nucleus, and the electrons are situated around the nucleus.

A 26.08 g mixture of zinc and sodium is reacted with a stoichiometric amount of sulfuric acid. The reaction mixture is then reac
Over [174]

Answer:

Molar percent of sodium in original mixture is 88,50%

Explanation:

The last reaction is:

BaCl₂ + Na₂SO₄ → BaSO₄ + 2 NaCl

The moles of BaCl₂ are:

0,132L × 3,80M = 0,502 moles of BaCl₂

As the amount of BaCl₂ is the maximum possible to produce BaSO₄, the moles of BaCl₂ must be the same than moles of Na₂SO₄.

0,502 moles of BaCl₂ ≡ 0,502 moles of Na₂SO₄

These moles of Na₂SO₄ comes from:

2 Na + H₂SO₄ → Na₂SO₄ + H₂

As the reaction is in stoichiometric amounts, moles of Na are twice the moles of Na₂SO₄

0,502 moles of Na₂SO₄ ×\frac{2molesNa}{1moleNa_{2}SO_{4}}× 22,99 g/mole = 23,08 g of Na

Molar percent of sodium in original mixture is:

\frac{23,08g}{26,08g}*100 = 88,50%

I hope it helps

Which statement best describes the effect of color on energy absorption and reflection? 1. Light colors reflect more and absorb
fredd [130]
The statement which best described the effect of color on energy absorption and reflection is this: LIGHT COLORS REFLECT MORE AND ABSORB LESS THAN DARK COLORS. Black color absorbs all incident radiations while white color reflects all incident radiations; all other colors fall in the midst of these two colors.

Given a condensed structural formula, write a line-angle formula for (CH3)2CHCH(CH3)2
Vlada [557]

Answer : The line-angle formula for (CH_3)_2CHCH(CH_3)_2 is shown below.

Explanation :

Condensed structural formula : It is a formula in which the lines are used between the bonded atoms and the atoms are also shown in the structural formula.

Line-angle formula : In the line-angle formula, the carbon atoms are represented at the corner and ends of the lines with some angle and the hydrogen atoms are hidden.

The line-angle formula for (CH_3)_2CHCH(CH_3)_2 is shown below.

Serga [27]

Answer:

40 g

Explanation:

Find the line labeled KClO3 (which might take you a min, theres a lot of lines here)

Notice that when the line creates a direct point, you can measure the exact temperature needed to dissolve a certain amount (like how they gave 30 degrees and it lined up perfectly with the 10 g line. )

Since its asking for the amount at 80 degrees, all you need to do is trace the line to the 80 degree point, and look at the grams. (notice it made a direct point, so there definitely should be any decimals or guesswork)

By reading the graph, you can tell that at 80 degrees, it dissolves 40 grams, and that is your answer.

Hope this helps :)
