Answer:

The range of given data set is 90.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given the following data:

20.9, 33.1, 21.8, 58.5, 23.5, 110.9, 30.4, 24.9, 74.1, 60.3, 40.4, 45.4

When this data is arranged in ascending order, we get:

20.9 , 21.8 , 23.5 , 24.9 , 30.4 , 33.1 , 40.4 , 45.4 , 58.5 , 60.3 , 74.1 , 110.9

Range is a measure of dispersion and can be easily calculated.

Formula:

Range = \text{Maximum values - minimum value}

Range = 110.9 - 20.9 = 90

Thus, the range of given data set is 90.

Answer:

answer is 24.56cm

perimeter of half/semi circle = \pi r + 2r

one semi circle semi circles perimeter: \pi*2+2*2 =10.283cm,

for two semi circles= 2*10.283 =20.566cm

without the line below for two semi circle: 20.566-4-4=12.566 cm

both da side of rectangle is 6cm+6cm=12cm

now add the 12.566+12=24.56cm

The sum of a whole number and twice its square is 21. Find the whole number
I am Lyosha [343]
SOLUTION:

Let whole number = x

x + 2x^2 = 21

2x^2 + x - 21 = 0

2x^2 + 7x - 6x - 21 = 0

x ( 2x + 7 ) - 3 ( 2x + 7 ) = 0

( 2x + 7 ) ( x - 3 ) = 0

2x + 7 = 0

2x = - 7

x = - 7 / 2

OR

x - 3 = 0

x = 3

ANSWER:

Therefore, as 3 is a whole number while - 7 / 2 isn't a whole number, the whole number must be 3.

Hope this helps! :)
