The lowest pressure the human can hear is 20 micro Pa or 20x10^-6 Pa.
to convert it dB = 20 log ( p / p0 )
where p is the pressure you want to hear
p0 is the lowest pressure the human can hear

since you want 10 times higher the lowest possible
p/p0 = 10
dB = 20 log ( 10 )
dB = 20 dB

The weight of a block on the inclined plane is 500 N and the angle of incline is 30 degrees. What is the magnitude of the force
yanalaym [24]

Answer:

250 N

433 N

Explanation:

N = Normal force by the surface of the inclined plane

W = Weight of the block = 500 N

f = static frictional force acting on the block

Parallel to incline, force equation is given as

f = W Sin30

f = (500) Sin30

f = 250 N

Perpendicular to incline force equation is given

N = W Cos30

N = (500) Cos30

N = 433 N

What are similarities between the Rorschach inkblots and the TAT test?
Luden [163]
The Rorschach inkblots and the TAT (Thematic Appreciation Test) both rely on providing the subject with ambiguous visual stimuli and assessing the subject's state of mind using the subject's interpretation of the stimuli.
Both use cards, although not all of the cards are used in the TAT. Moreover, the TAT cards contain sketches, while the Rorschach inkblots contain patterns of ink.

g In a cold rolling operation, steel sheets that are initially 300 cm long X 80 cm wide X 8 cm thick are cold worked to 80 cm wi
seropon [69]

Answer:

100% cold working performed on this steel

Explanation:

Using the constant volume assumption:

                L₀W₀t₀ (initial)                                    =                      Lₐ Wₐ tₐ (final)

thus 300 cm long X 80 cm wide X 8 cm thick =   Lₐ x 80 cm wide X 5 cm thick

Lₐ = 300 cm long X 80 cm wide X 8 cm thick/80 cm wide X 5 cm thick

  =480 cm

% cold working performed on this steel = Lₐ Wₐ tₐ (final) /  L₀W₀t₀ (initial) 8 100

= 480 x 80 x 5/ 300 x 80 x 8 *100 = 100%

A corvette starts from rest and travels 69.0 meters in 50 s. What is its acceleration?
devlian [24]

Answer:

0.0552 m/s²

Explanation:

Given:

Δx = 69.0 m

v₀ = 0 m/s

t = 50 s

Find: a

Δx = v₀ t + ½ at²

69.0 m = (0 m/s) (50 s) + ½ a (50 s)²

a = 0.0552 m/s²
