One piece of copper jewelry at 101°C has twice the mass of another piece, which is at 38.0°C. Both pieces are placed inside a ca

Answer:

80.0°C will be the final temperature inside the calorimeter.

Explanation:

Heat lost by  the pace of jewelry  will be equal to heat gained by the another piece of the jewelry

-Q_1=Q_2

Mass of piece-1= m_1=2m

Specific heat capacity of copper= c  = 0.387 J/g.K

Initial temperature of the iron = T_1=101^oC

Final temperature = T_2=T

Q_1=m_1c_1\times (T-T_1)

Mass of piece-2= m_2=m

Specific heat capacity of copper = c  = 0.387 J/g.K

Initial temperature of the water = T_3=38.0^oC

Final temperature of water = T_2=T

Q_2=m_2c_2\times (T-T_3)

-Q_1=Q_2  (conservation of energy)

-(m_1c_1\times (T-T_1))=m_2c_2\times (T-T_3)

On substituting all values:

-(2mc\times (T-101^oC))=mc\times (T-38.0^oC)

T= 80.0^oC

80.0°C will be the final temperature inside the calorimeter.

What does two bonded flurione atoms form?
Archy [21]
2 Fluorine atoms covalently bonded with each other, each sharing an equal number of a single, one valence electron to achieve a stable octet, would form a diatonic fluorine gas. It is a diatomic molecule, a molecule consisting of 2 atoms that are the same, in this case fluorine.

A weather balloon at Earth’s surface has a
tigry1 [53]

The temperature : 263.016 K

<h3>Further explanation</h3>

Combined with Boyle's law and Gay Lussac's law

\tt \dfrac{P_1.V_1}{T_1}=\dfrac{P_2.V_2}{T_2}

P1 = initial gas pressure (N/m² or Pa)

V1 = initial gas volume (m³)

P2 = gas end pressure

V2 = the final volume of gas

T1 = initial gas temperature (K)

T2 = gas end temperature

P1=760 mmHg

V1= 4 L

T1 = 275 K

P2=704 mmHg

V1=4.13 L

\tt \dfrac{760\times 4}{275}=\dfrac{704\times 4.13}{T_2}\\\\T_2=263.016~K

Pak Dollah who is long-sighted forgot to bring his glasses during breakfast in a restaurant. You are required to invent a lens t
Andre45 [30]

A converging lens made from a transparent plastic bottle filled with water is used to enable Pak Dollah read the newspaper.

<h3>What is long-sightedness?</h3>

Long-sightedness is an eye effect in which objects are not able to focus on the retina but behind the retina, therefore, near objects are not clearly seen except they are placed far away.

To correct long-sightedness, a suitable converging lens is used to bring the image to focus on the retina.

To construct a converging lens for Pak Dollah, the transparent plastic bottle is filled with water to serve as a converging lens and Pal Dollah will read through it.

Therefore, a converging lens made from a transparent plastic bottle filled with water is used to enable Pak Dollah read the newspaper.
