Answer: 2460J/g^0C

Explanation:

The quantity of heat required to raise the temperature of a substance by one degree Celsius is called the specific heat capacity.

Q=C\times \Delta T

Q = Heat absorbed by calorimeter =5682 Joules

C = heat capacity of calorimeter = ?

Initial temperature of the calorimeter = T_i = 22.37°C

Final temperature of the calorimeter = T_f = 24.68°C

Change in temperature ,\Delta T=T_f-T_i=(24.68-22.37)^0C=2.31^0C

Putting in the values, we get:

5682=C\times 2.31^0C

C=2460J/g^0C

The heat capacity of the calorimeter is 2460J/g^0C

What is the volume, in liters, of 5.500 mol of C3H3 gas at STP
ZanzabumX [31]

Answer:

123.2 Liters.

Explanation:

At STP (T = 273K & P = 1atm), one mol of any gas will occupy 22.4 liters.

With the above information in mind, we can calculate how many liters would 5.500 mol of gas occupy:

5.500 mol * 22.4 L / mol = 123.2 L

So 5.500 moles of C₃H₃ would have a volume of 123.2 liters at STP.

I need help please, thanks!
oee [108]

Answer:

This question is somehow not clear, because a typical human eye can notice objects which have wavelengths from about 380 to 740 nanometers. This is called visible spectrum (the portion of the electromagnetic spectrum that is visible to the human eye). Electromagnetic radiation in this range of wavelengths is called visible light or simply light.

Someone even can see extra colors - they able to see beyond the visible spectrum. The reason that the human eye can see the spectrum is because those specific wavelengths stimulate the retina in the human eye. The human retina can only detect incident light that falls in waves from about 380 to 740 nanometers long, so we can’t see microwave or ultraviolet wavelengths. This also applies to infrared lights which has wavelengths longer than visible and shorter than microwaves, thus being invisible to the human eye.

In conclusion, the human eye can not notice that objects with wavelength not in the range of 380 to 740 nanometers.

The final temperature and pressure in a container is 234K at 210 kPa.
andre [41]

Answer:

Initial pressure = 157 kpa (Approx)

Explanation:

Given:

final temperature = 234 K

final pressure = 210 kpa

Initial temperature = 175 K

Find:

Initial pressure

Computation:

Initial pressure / Initial temperature = final pressure / final temperature

Initial pressure / 175 = 210 / 234

Initial pressure = 157 kpa (Approx)
