The form of listening occurs when you are trying to experience what another person is thinking or feeling is therapeutic or empathic listening. This is the correct answer.

EXPLANATION

Listening is one of the most important skills in interpersonal relationships that most people take for granted. People generally take listening as something that happens naturally, and that it should come in a subconscious way of life. It is in a slower and more thorough way of looking at lives that some people started to notice that listening is crucial to people’s lives, and should be nurtured, developed and well taken care of. One of the forms in listening is called therapeutic or empathic listening.

Empathic listening revolves around trying to understand what the speaker trying to say by the feelings and the emotion of the speaker. Empathy is a challenging and often difficult way of deeply connecting with someone. Empathy requires more than just being compassionate or feeling sorry for someone, as this relates more to sympathy rather than empathy.

Empathy is best to be described as realizing and understanding another person’s view of a matter. Vocations such as counselors, therapists, and psychologists commonly used emphatic listening to understand and help their patients. Empathic listening focused more on making the speaker feel encouraged to explain and to elaborate on their feelings and emotions rather than judgments and offer advice.

Empathic listening is highly sought after in interpersonal relationships as it makes people feel comfortable talking about their feelings and emotions to a particular person.

Answer:

The correct answer is generativity vs Stagnation so the correct answer might be e) Stagnation.

Explanation:

The primary developmental task of this stage is Generativity vs Stagnation.

Generativity refers to the subjective feeling of "leaving a mark". A concern for helping people and the newer generations in a positive and lasting way. It is a need to nurture people and new generations and be a guidence to them.

If the person doesn't master this task he/she will probably experience stagnation, which is a subjective feeling of having no connection with others, and losing interest in helping others and feeling productive in society.

So the correct answer is: Generativity-Vs stagnation.
