Why would an organism utilize alcohol fermentation if it is wasteful of the energy in food molecules and poses a threat of death

due to high levels of toxic alcohol? A) The organism can survive short spells of anaerobic conditions and maintain growth and reproduction B) If glucose levels are not high, there may be time to eliminate the alcohol "waste" C) Fermentation can provide a rapid burst of ATP since it does not have to go through the full breakdown process D) Alcohol fermentation represents an adaptation that allow organisms to survive in environments with variable oxygen availability E) All of the choices are real advantages of alcohol fermentation

HCI + NaOH --> NaCl + H 20
Vikki [24]

Answer:

option D is correct

Explanation:

no of moles in 3 grams of HCL=3/36=0.08

if 1 mole of HCL require 1 mole of NaOH then 0.08 moles required 0.08 moles of NaOH

mass of 0.08 moles of NaOH=moles*molar mass=0.08*40=3.2 grams

so 3 grams are required in the reaction

In this reaction, what is the correct coefficient for hydrogen gas? ? h2 + ? o2 ? ? h2o
iragen [17]
To balance a chemical reaction, it is important to remember that the number of atoms of each element in the reactants and the product side should be equal. This is to follows the law of conservation of mass where mass cannot be created or destroyed. So, the total mass that is used to react should have the same value of the total mass of the substances produced from the reactants. The balanced chemical reaction would be written as follows:

2h2 + o2 = 2h2o

Reactant     =    Product
H = 4           =          4
O = 2          =           2

Therefore, the correct coefficient for the hydrogen gas would be 2.

Misha Larkins [42]

Answer:

Answer in explanation

Explanation:

a. Boron , element 5

Helium has 2 electrons, add to the other 3 to give 5.

Other group members are : Aluminum Al, Gallium Ga, Indium In , Thallium Tl and Nihonium Nh

b. Sulphur, element 16

Neon is 10 , add other 6 electrons to make 16

Other group members are: Oxygen O, selenium Se , Tellurium Te and Polonium Po

c. Lanthanum, element 57

Xenon is 54, add the other 3 electrons to give 57.

Other elements in group : Scandium Sc , Yttrium Y , Actinium Ac, Lutetium Lu and/or Lawrencium Lr

Which of the following is an advance in technology that has helped us to increase environmental quality?
meriva
OK, its deff not the last one b/c all that trash just goes into the air, overwater farm land would kill crops (no help there), Ive never heard of heating water to kill excess bacteria. There is ,however, a new technique called Bioremediation which is the use of living organism to clean up a medium i.e. air,soil, water. It would seem the 2nd answer is correct.
