Hey there! Hello!

For this problem, you need to use the distributive property to expand the variables into one equation. In my attachment, I'll show you how to do this.

If you need to then factor out the equation back into two binomials, you could either do it the way I show you, or you could just factor out the GFC's of both binomials, 2 and 4, to get 8. Either way, it's good to know how to do these steps. If the "re-factoring" step isn't necessary for your question, the second line down in the lower portion of my work.

I hope this helped you out! Feel free to ask me any additional questions if you have any. :-)

anyanavicka [17]

Answer:

This means that the correct initial value problem for the population p(t) as a function of time is is P(0) = 1000

Step-by-step explanation:

The population of a town increases at a rate proportional to its population:

This means that this situation is modeled by the following differential equation:

\frac{dP}{dt} = kP

In which k is the growth rate.

By separation of variables, the solution is given by:

P(t) = P(0)e^{kt}

In which P(0) is the initial population.

Initial population of 1000.

This means that the correct initial value problem for the population p(t) as a function of time is is P(0) = 1000

What is the length of the actual dining room?
Schach [20]
120 inches.

This is because to find the scale factor, you have to take the square root of the area scale. This will give you 30-1 ratio. Then multiply the 4 by that number.

What is the image of the point (4,-2) after a rotation 270 degree clockwise about the origin?
vaieri [72.5K]
The equivalent 90° CCW rotation maps (x, y) to (-y, x).
(4, -2) becomes (2, 4) after rotation.

Jori has 7 boxes of books,with each box holding the same number of books.he has126 books in all how many books are there per box
bazaltina [42]
Let b be the number of books in a box.  Then we can say that the total number of books is equal to the number of boxes times the number of books per box.

7b=126  divide both sides by 7

b=18

So there are 18 books per box.
