According to the leader-member exchange model (LMX), a leader has different relationships with different groups of subordinates. There is the in-group which the leader tends to favour more and the out-group which do not receive much favour from the leader.
Our religion, the food we eat, the clothe we wear and how we wear them, the music we sing, language, what we believe is right or wrong, how we seat on tables, how we greet vistors, how we behave with our loved ones and millions more, all contributed to american culture.
