I heard of this before I think I know the answers.

1st one, I'm thinking D. Because Turning Liquid into a Solid means like it would take energy out since its freezing.

2nd one, I would choose A
B and C why would they slow down if they were still in a solid. they attracted one another, but they stood still(Didn't move). D is explaining how Liquid turns into a Solid, so this is definitely incorrect. So I would choose A.

I really do hope this helps you out. (Idk about the 1st, but 2nd I think its the answer)

Answer:

a) 64.27%

b) 58%

c) ethanol is the limiting reactant

d) ethanol is the limiting reactant

Explanation:

We have to note that the expected yield is the theoretical yield while the actual mass or amount of product formed is the actual yield.

a) theoretical yield=68.3g

Actual yield= 43.9 g

Percentage yield= 43.9/68.3 ×100

Percentage yield= 64.27%

b) theoretical yield= 0.0722 moles

Actual yield = 0.0419

Percentage yield= 0.0419/0.0722 × 100

Percentage yield= 58%

c) note that the limiting reactant yields the least number of moles of product

Ethanol will be the limiting reactant since it is not present in excess.

d) from the reaction equation;

1 mole of acetic acid produces 1 mole of ethyl acetate

0.58 moles of ethanol produces 0.58 moles of ethyl acetate

1 mole of acetic acid yields 1 mole of ethyl acetate

Hence 0.82 moles of acetic acid yields 0.82 moles of ethyl acetate

Hence ethanol is the limiting reactant.

Sodium metal reacts with aluminum chloride to produce sodium chloride and aluminum. The balanced reaction is: 3 Na(s) + AlCl3(aq
andre [41]
First convert 12.0g of Na to moles using the grams to moles conversation and you get about .5219 moles (I didn't use significant figures). Divide that number by 3 because that is the coefficient of Na and you will get about .17398 moles, which is how many moles are in 1. Since Al has a coefficient of 1, .17398 woild be your final answer

How many grams of P2Cl5 are produced if 2.00 moles of P reacts with an excess of Cl2?
Roman55 [17]

Answer:

m_{P_2Cl_5 }=239.2125gP_2Cl_5

Explanation:

Hello there!

In this case, according to the reaction:

4P+5Cl_2\rightarrow 2P_2Cl_5

Thus, since there is a 4:2 mole ratio of P to P2Cl5 and the molar mass of the later is 239.2125 g/mol, we obtain the following mass as the produced one:

m_{P_2Cl_5 }=2.00molP*\frac{2molP_2Cl_5}{4molP} *\frac{239.2125gP_2Cl_5 }{1molP_2Cl_5} \\\\m_{P_2Cl_5 }=239.2125gP_2Cl_5

Regards!
