Why would an older house have more safety risks then a newer house
blsea [12.9K]

Answer:

Older homes did not have the same safety requirements when they were constructed that newly built homes now have to meet; any preventative measures like smoke alarms were left up to the home owners.

A substance has a mass of 360 g and a volume of 7.5 cm3. What is its density? a. 2700 g/cm3 c. 480 g/cm3 b. 270 g/cm3 d. 48 g/cm
leva [86]

Density can be calculated by:

D=\frac{M}{V}

where D is the density, M is the mass, and V is the volume.  In this case we have m = 360g, V=7.5 cm^3  by plugging in these values we have:

D=\frac{360g}{7.5cm^3} =48\frac{g}{cm^3}

C.) 480 g/cm^3

Pro-tip: Look at the units, they sometimes tell you what to do.  In this case all of your answers have grams over cm^3 this means grams divided by cm^3.  Even if you do not know the equation you can infer what it is by knowing what units you have vs. what units you should end up with.
