Compare:

They are all natural windy disasters that start by large and strong winds. All three usually result in large and vast damage.

Contrast:

<u>Hurricanes:</u> Hurricanes are wind storms that create large waves that can turn into tsunamis that eventually can wash away houses and demolish cities. These start  by strong winds that start near oceans or large bodies of water.

<u>Tornadoes:</u> These usually start because of strong winds and bare lands. Without trees breaking the winds it allows strong gusts of wind to roll through the lands creating large wind funnels that arouse the dust and can tear up houses and even cities.

<u>Blizzards:</u> These large wind storms are when the winds pick up snow and sleet and violently throw around dangerous amounts of ice. These can result in heavily damaged cities. Usually streets, houses, and buildings are buried in several feet of snow by the end of the storm.

Hope this helps you out. Good luck!  ❤

how are mutations continually being generated in a population (what are some of the causes of mutatuions?) explain
vampirchik [111]
Some causes could be the mother smoking, drinking, doing drugs etc. Or even simply her body doesn’t fully accept the baby growing inside her so it acts out against it. Sounds strange but it happens. Also if the mother is sick with Zika or another virus, it can harm the baby’s growth.

1.How would you describe the relationship between the eagle and the hare?
stepan [7]

<u>Explanation:</u>

1. <em>Remember</em>, the video began with the words, "<em>For one death, for the other, are all decided in an instance." </em>Meaning, both could result in each other harm. There is

2. The eagle can't afford to make any mistakes because we are told, <em>"even the slightest injury can leave it too weak to hunt and cause it to stave."</em>

3. More eagles means more hares are hunted, and as more hares are been killed, the lesser the hare population.

4. The increase in the predator population leads to a reduction in the population of the prey. In other words, as more predators start looking for prey to eat, the prey population decreases.

5. In simple words, a keystone species is a type of predator whose presence in the community has far-reaching effects on other species in the community. One common example is the sea star species found in coral reefs, see stars feed on mussel and sea urchin thereby helping to regulate the population of mussels and sea urchin. Doing this ultimately helps other species survive.

6. A limiting factor is an attribute or factor that reduces the exponential growth in the population of an organism.

7. Camouflage allows preys to hid from their predators. Usually made possible by their physical appearance.

Different organs and structures in the body feature specific types of epithelial cells. Classify the locations in the body as fe
Sidana [21]

Answer:

Explanation:

The epithelial tissue covers the body's surface. It originates from all the 3 germinal layers - ectoderm, mesoderm, and endoderm. It presents different parts of the body. It protects different parts from any injury. It also helps in absorption and secretion.

There are 2 types of epithelial tissue - simple epithelial tissue and compound epithelial tissue.

The simple epithelial tissues are single layer cells. These are also different types such as squamous epithelium, cuboidal epithelium, columnar, ciliated and many more.

Squamous epithelial cells: These cells are flat, arrange together without any intercellular space. Simple epithelial cells are present in the outer covering of Bowman's capsule, alveoli of lungs, the lens of the eye.

Cuboidal epithelium: These are cube-like structure as its name suggest. They are secretory in function and present in the pancreas, thymus, etc.

Columnar epithelium: These are cylindrical in structure. The nucleus is present at the base. Such epithelial cells are present in the lining of the alimentary canal, gallbladder, bile duct. Its major function is the absorption of digested food.

Ciliated epithelium: These are simple columnar epithelium having cilia at one end. It is present in the uterine tube, respiratory tract.

Pseudostratified epithelium: The ciliated epithelium sometimes consists of tall and small cells. Many cells do not bear cilia. That's why they are known as the pseudostratified epithelium. It is present in the nasal cavity, trachea, bronchi.

Stratified epithelium: It is one type of compound epithelium. These are present in the epidermis of the skin, the lining of the buccal cavity.
