Answer:

y=-1x

Step-by-step explanation:

y=mx+b

find where the line hits on the y axis

it hits on the 0

ur b is ur y intercept

y=mx+0

since the line is down the slope will be a negative

u can use the rise/run method

so start from the 0 and go right 1 down 1

ur slope is -1/1

y=-1x+0

u can take out the zero

ik this doesnt make sense but hope this helps

In its first year of operation, Big Lake Camp had 40 campers. This year’s attendance was 180% of the first year’s. How many camp
Murrr4er [49]

Answer:

72 campers participated this year

Step-by-step explanation:

Percentages

To determine x% of y, we must calculate x*y/100.

The number of campers that participated in Big Lake Camp during its first year was 40. We now want to know the number of campers that participated this year, if the attendance was 180% of the first year's.

The new attendance is calculated as follows:

40 * 180 / 100 = 72

72 campers participated this year

A manufacturing firm tests job applicants. Test scores are normally distributed with a mean of 500 and a standard deviation of 5
Blababa [14]

Answer:

The probability that the candidate score is 600 or greater

P(X≥ 600 ) = 0.0228

Step-by-step explanation:

Step(i):-

Given mean of the Population = 500

Given standard deviation of the Population = 50

Let 'X' be the random variable in normal distribution

Given  X = 600

Z = \frac{x-mean}{S.D} = \frac{600-500}{50} = \frac{100}{50} =2

Step(ii):-

The probability that the candidate score is 600 or greater

P(X≥ 600 ) = P(z≥2)

                  = 0.5 - A(2)

                 = 0.5 -0.4772

                = 0.0228

Final answer:-

The probability that the candidate score is 600 or greater

P(X≥ 600 ) = 0.0228

Like any other time you divide one fraction by the other...

(a/b)/(c/d)=(a/b)(d/c)=(ad)/(bc)

So in this case you actually have:

3x^3/(4y) * 9/x  multiply

27x^3/(4xy) one x cancels out leaving you with

27x^2/(4y)

Second answer down :P
