Answer:

d. 16

Explanation:

Let

Charge on particle=q and mass of particle=m

Radius=2r

Magnetic field=2B

We have to find by  what factor  the maximum kinetic energy of particle increases.

We know that

Maximum kinetic energy of particle is given by

K_{max}=\frac{q^2B^2r^2}{2m}

Substitute the values then we get

Maximum kinetic energy of particle =\frac{q(2B)^2(2r)^2}{2m}

Maximum kinetic energy of particle =16\cdot \frac{q^2B^2r^2}{2m}

Hence, the maximum kinetic energy of particle increase by 16 when radius is twice and magnetic field is twice strong.

Ex 10: My dog runs at 6 m/s for 18 meters. How long did she run for?
Hunter-Best [27]
She ran for 3s

Put 18/6 because in order to find how long she ran for you need to divide the distance by the meters ran, once you do that you will get 3.

suppose a vacuum cleaner use 120 j of electrical energy. If 45 j are used to pull air into the vacuum cleaner, how efficient is
Mice21 [21]
It depends on how much time 45 j will go, so if you told me that it went through 45 j per minute it will go through for 2 minutes so not efficient unless it went through 45 j per hour then it is efficient.

Farmer Tamar airlifted her sheep from 1000 meters to 1,200 meters
attashe74 [19]

Question

What was the change in potential energy of the sheep?

Answer:

1962(m) J

Explanation:

Potential energy is given by

PE=mgh

Change in potential energy is given by

∆PE=mg(h2-h1)

Where ∆PE is the change in potential eneegy, g is acceleration due to gravity, h2 is final height and h1 is the initial height.

Substituting 9.81 m/s² for g, 1200 m for h2 and 1000 m for h1 then

∆PE=m*9.81(1200-1000)=1962m Joules

Since we are not given the mass of rhe sheep, the answer will be 1962(m) Joules

Would a measured force of (46.5 0.8 N  ) be in agreement with a theoretically calculated force of (48.4 0.6 N  ) ? Show your w
OverLord2011 [107]

Answer:

A measured force of (46.5 0.8 N  ) would not be in agreement with a theoretically calculated force of (48.4 0.6 N  )

Explanation:

From the question we are told that

  Measured force is  F_M  =  [46.5 \pm 0.8 \  N ]

   Calculated force is  F_c =  [48.4 \pm 0.6 \  N ]

Generally the measured force in interval form is

     46.5 - 0.8  < F_M  <  46.5 + 0.8

=>  45.7   < F_M  < 47.3

Generally the calculated  force in interval form is

     48.4 - 0.6  < F_c  <  48.4 + 0.6

=>  47.8   < F_M

Generally looking both interval we see that they do not intersect at any point Hence

A measured force of (46.5 0.8 N  ) would not be in agreement with a theoretically calculated force of (48.4 0.6 N  )
