Answer:

X component of V1 = 49.36 N

Y component of V1 = 28.5 N

Angle is 59 degree

Explanation:

V1 = 57 N at 30 degree above + x axis

X component of V1

V1x = V1 Cos 30 = 57 x Cos 30 = 49.36 N

V1y = V1 Sin 30 = 57 x Sin 30 = 28.5 N

Hx = 15 N

Hy = 25 N

Angle made with + X axis is θ.

Tan θ = Hy / Hx = 25 / 15 = 1.667

θ = 59 degree

The current in a hair dryer measures 15 amps the resistance of the hair dryer is 8 ohms
suter [353]

The <u><em>voltage</em></u> at the input to the hair dryer is

V = (current) · (resistance)

V = (15 A) · (8 Ω)

<em>V = 120 volts</em>

The <em><u>power</u></em> dissipated by the hair dryer is

P = (current)²· (resistance)

P = (15 A)² · (8 Ω)

<em>P = 1800 watts </em>

A 45.0 kg skater is skating at a speed of 12.0 m/s. The skater coasts to a speed of 6.00 m/s. How much kinetic energy has the sk
ratelena [41]
Kinetic energy is the energy of an object that is moving. It is calculated from one-half the product of the mass and the change in square of the velocity of the object. It is the opposite of potential energy which the energy possessed by an object at rest. We calculate as follows:
KE = mΔv^2 / 2 = 45 ( 6^2 - 12^2 ) = -4860 J had been lost by the skater

Two identical small conducting spheres are separated by 0.60 m. The spheres carry different amounts of charge and each sphere ex
sergiy2304 [10]

Electrostatic force between two sphere is given by

F = \frac{kq_1q_2}{r^2}

here we know that

r = 0.60 m

F = 10.8 N

q_1 + q_2 = -24 \mu C

now we will have

10.8 = \frac{9 \times 10^9 q_1q_2}{0.60^2}

since the two charges are attracting each other so here the two charges must be opposite in nature

q_1q_2 = -4.32 \times 10^{-10}

now we will use

q_1 - \frac{4.32 \times 10^{-10}}{q_1}= -24 \times 10^{-6}

q_1^2 + 24 \times 10^{-6} q_1 - 4.32 \times 10^{-10} = 0

by solving above equation we will have

q_1 = \pm 36\mu C

q_2 = \mp 12\mu C

now the force between two sphere when connected by wire is to be determine

so here we have net charge on each sphere is half of total charge

so we will have

q_1 = q_2 = -12\mu C

so force now is given as

F = \frac{9\times 10^9 (-12\times 10^{-6})^2}{0.60^2}

F = 3.6 N

this is repulsive force between two charges

T1 = 273 + 22 = 295 Kelvin

T2 = 273 + 4 = 277 Kelvin

now ,  we just need to input this to the vormula

295/0.5  =  277/V2

V2 = 590/277
