EXPLANATION:  

During 1962-2014 the number of obesity in the US has increased. In 1962, obesity in the US was 23% of the population. In 2014, the CDC found that the number of US obesity was 36.5%. It means that more than one-third US population was obese. Obesity in the US doesn’t happen in adults. Children and adulthoods who are 2-19 years old also suffer from obesity. There were 17% of US generation who are obese. During 2015-2016 the number of US obesity increased again. There were 37.9% men and 41.1% of women who were overweight.  

The high number of obesity in the US makes this country becomes the first country with the highest obesity rate in the world. It means that the obesity rate in the US is the highest among other countries. Obesity has become the biggest problem in the United States. This problem has been a contributing factor that causes 100.000 – 400.000 deaths in the United States every year. It is a serious condition and problem. Thus, US citizen has to prevent being overweight.  

Here are some tips that can prevent obesity:

·        Plan a healthy-eating plan

·        Exercise regularly

·        Know and avoid the food traps which make you want to eat

·        Check your weight regularly

·        Be consistent
