Well, if there were no air resistance, then a helicopter couldn't fly.  But let's do the physics and the Math anyway:

The way gravity works, the speed of a falling object increases at the rate of 9.8 m/s every second.

So, after falling for 12 seconds, its speed is (12 x 9.8) = <em>117.6 m/s </em>.

Is it accurate to describe the physical universe as composed of only matter and energy?
Dennis_Churaev [7]
Yes, it is <span>accurate to describe the physical universe as composed of only matter and energy. Some people might argue about the dark matter, but it is not yet defined properly. Different universes can be made up of different compositions but it is a fact that our universe is made of matter and energy. </span>

The figure above shows the net force exerted on an object as a function of the position of the object. The object starts from re
weqwewe [10]

Answer:

0.06 Kg

Explanation:

From the question given above, the following data were obtained:

Initial velocity (u) = 0 m/s

Final velocity (v) = 3.0 m/s

Distance (s) = 0.09 m

Net Force (F) = 3 N

Mass (m) =?

Next, we shall determine the acceleration of the object. This can be obtained as follow:

Initial velocity (u) = 0 m/s

Final velocity (v) = 3.0 m/s

Distance (s) = 0.09 m

Acceleration (a) =?

v² = u² + 2as

3² = 0² + (2 × a × 0.09)

9 = 0 + 0.18a

9 = 0.18a

Divide both side by 0.18

a = 9 / 0.18

a = 50 m/s²

Finally, we shall determine the mass of the object. This can be obtained as follow:

Net Force (F) = 3 N

Acceleration (a) = 50 N

Mass (m) =?

F = ma

3 = m × 50

Divide both side by 50

m = 3 / 50

m = 0.06 Kg

Therefore, the mass of the object is 0.06 Kg

Two narrow slits 84 mum apart are illuminated with light of wavelength 650 nm. What is the angle of the m = 3 bright fringe in r
Digiron [165]

Answer:

The angle is 1.33°.

Explanation:

Given that,

Distance d=84\times10^{-6}\ m

Wavelength = 650 nm

Number of fringe = 3

We need to calculate the angle

Using formula of angle for brightness

d\sin\theta=m\lambda

\theta=\sin^{-1}\dfrac{m\lambda}{d}

Where, d = distance

\lambda =wavelength

m = number of fringe

Put the value into the formula

\theta=\sin^{-1}\dfrac{3\times650\times10^{-9}}{84\times10^{-6}}

\theta=1.33^{\circ}

Hence, The angle is 1.33°.
